We were lucky enough to ask some questions to BeReal Doughs and gain some insight into this tempting and creative product!
“How did BeReal Doughs start?”

Mary Galvin is on a lifelong mission to
create the most delicious, organic, gluten-free and plant-based pre-made doughs
and cookies. Having suffered many illnesses since 1999, she decided it was
necessary to heal herself through diet and nutrition. Determined not to give up
the baked goods she loved and shared with her family and friends, Mary set out
to develop healthy versions of her favorite recipes to share with the public.
“What inspired your products?”

“What’s BeReal Doughs biggest milestone?”
At the inaugural Plant Based World Expo in NYC this summer (June 2019), BeRealDoughs debuted its delicious (and unbelievably healthy) edible and bakeable cookie dough to the plant based vegan market. “The response was undeniable,” said Galvin. “Everyone loves the dough and they can’t believe how healthy it is.” We really enjoyed taking part in this exposition. We are currently seeking new retailers such as health stores and organic markets.
“What methods and care set BeReal Doughs apart from other cookie dough companies?”
Everything we mix into our
indulgent hand-crafted dough is organic, plant-based, gluten-free, non-GMO,
fair-trade certified, and free of preservatives. Our ingredients are also
dairy-free, egg free and soy-free. Most commercial cookie dough is
not organic and contains ingredients like wheat flour, butter, dairy products,
and soy lecithin.
BeReal is shelf stable for 60 days
at room temperature so it’s soft and fresh and delicious straight from the
pantry. All of the other dough on the market requires refrigeration, so it’s
hard and cold. Mary’s secret process is patent-pending. We produce all of our
dough in small batches on Cape Cod.
